just turned 8 yrs old 70 lbs; all muscle and a talented striker, but lacks the finished wrestler technique. He had his first fight in front about 800 people and lost by submission in about 27 sec. I think he panicked due to how fast got picked and dropped and suddenly it was a ground war.(massacre) He was devestasted by this and has hit the sparring, weights ,and cardio religiously, and cut out video games and tv on his own! We have gotten him some pointers from a state champ making wrestling coach since the last post but any MMA advise or experience would be great!, It's hard to get in the cage again without confidence in your ground skills, so we'll keep working and learning.
